Мета статті – вивчити сучасний зміст краєзнавчої діяльності бібліотек Вінниччини; встановити стан дослідження краєзнавчого контенту бібліотек Вінниччини; охарактеризувати складники та зміст краєзнавчої роботи бібліотек, що потребує нового підходу до процесів збереження краєзнавчих фондів; встановити місце краєзнавчої діяльності як провідного напряму бібліотечної роботи. Для досягнення поставленої мети було використано комплекс дослідницьких підходів і методів: системний, діяльнісний, історичний, соціально-комунікаційний підходи і методи наукового аналізу та синтезу, метод порівняння, описання та вимірювання, бібліографічний. Наукова новизна роботи полягає в розширенні уявлень про якість краєзнавчого контенту в бібліотеках Вінниччини, який розміщений на сайтах установ та формує розуміння національної ідентичності й самосвідомості. Висновки. У процесі дослідження виявлено, що бібліотеки Вінниччини відіграють важливу роль у збереженні та поширенні краєзнавчого контенту. Краєзнавча робота посідає важливе місце в діяльності бібліотек Вінниччини: це ознайомлення з історією рідного краю, виховання інтересу до історії, популяризація краєзнавчих видань і краєзнавчий атрибут в оформленні бібліотек, формування краєзнавчого фонду та його популяризація. Краєзнавчий контент охоплює різноманітні види інформації про історію, культуру, природу та людей, які живуть на Вінниччині. Цей напрям роботи активно продовжують вінницькі бібліотеки й під час війни, застосовуючи різні форми популяризації краєзнавчих знань: від виставок-експозицій, вернісажів, вікторин, історичних подорожей, слайд-презентацій про музейні експозиції, про життя та діяльність відомих краян до краєзнавчих конференцій, літературних вечорів, цікавих зустрічей з відомими персонами краю – до організації діяльності клубів та об’єднань краєзнавців і свят місцевих населених пунктів
