Метою роботи є дослідження та вивчення інновацій, інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій, як важливого аспекту сучасних історичних та соціокомунікативних студій, а також розвитку бібліотечної та архівної справи. Методологія дослідження охоплює комплекс загальнонаукових методів, таких як систематизація, узагальнення, прогнозування, порівняння, структурно-функціональний аналіз, проведений з метою аналізу сучасного розвитку технологій у бібліотечній сфері та потреб інформаційно-комунікаційного забезпечення. комунікаційного забезпечення. Наукова новизна полягає у комплексному та системному аналізі інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій та комунікаційних технологій. Розкрито значення інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій у бібліотечній та архівній справі, впровадженні прогресивно нових засобів обробки, збереження та аналізу джерел визначено значення інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій у бібліотечній та архівній справі, впровадження прогресивних засобів обробки, збереження та аналізу джерел. Досліджено їх інтеграцію в бібліотечну справу, перспективи, шляхи розвитку та застосування, зокрема на прикладі вивчення читальних залів та бібліотек Лемківщини. Висновки. Розвиток інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій є важливим аспектом розвитку суспільства, зокрема науки. Результатом інноваційного розвитку архівної та бібліотечної справи є інформаційно-комунікаційні технології (зокрема програмно-технічні засоби), а також підвищення якості сформованих ними продуктів і послуг, форм, методів і технологій управління. Таким чином, можна стверджувати, що розвиток інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій є одним із ключових аспектів розвитку архівної та комунікаційних технологій є одним із ключових аспектів розвитку бібліотечної та архівної справи, оскільки перетворення їх на консолідовані джерела інформації дозволяє по-новому підійти до вивчення історії Лемківщини та переосмислити історію інформаційних інституцій регіону. Вивчення бібліотечної та архівної справи Лемківщини передбачає розробку інформаційної системи на основі інноваційних ІКТ, що дозволить сформувати консолідований інформаційний масив
