Мета статті – репрезентувати концептуальні засади створення веб-порталу «Українське документознавство», окреслити методологічні та організаційні підходи до формування його контенту, виходячи із завдань розвитку документознавчої науки, освіти та практики. Методологія дослідження полягає у використанні загальнонаукових методів: аналізу, синтезу та системного підходу, що дозволило простежити зовнішні та внутрішні зв’язки документознавчого контенту з існуючою системою документних комунікацій. Наукова новизна роботи. Визначено когнітивні підходи до створення та обґрунтування структури, функціональних завдань реалізації проєкту формування документознавчого контенту веб-порталу «Українське документознавство». Репрезентовано структуру цього консолідованого ресурсу. Запропоновано методологічні та організаційні підходи до формування його контенту, виходячи зі завдань розвитку документознавчої науки, освіти та практики. Висновки. Запропоновано когнітивні концепти, архітектоніку та вимоги до реалізації проєкту створення веб-порталу документознавчої комунікації, який, відповідаючи вимогам сучасного розвитку науки і практики, буде засобом професійної комунікації між представникам науки, освіти та практиків. Створення документознавчого консолідованого ресурсу покликане звільнити користувача від пошуку інформації у різних джерелах і дати можливість отримати інформацію, необхідну для вирішення наукових, освітніх та прикладних завдань. Інтеграція різних документознавчих інформаційних ресурсів у єдиній інформаційній системі сприятиме об’єднанню розрізнених ресурсів, їх загальнодоступності для користувачів та забезпечення ефективної комунікації документознавчих спільнот. Залучення широких кіл фахівців до формування науково-прикладного контенту дозволить узагальненню виробленого знання та визначенню перспектив формування документознавчого простору держави
